Sharon was a brilliant light in the lives of many; her smart mind, spirited personality, compassionate heart, and unyielding love shone brightly throughout her life.
Sharon dedicated her life to serving others with immense care and empathy. She was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and retired from The Eastwood Pines Nursing Home. She left an indelible mark in her profession by collaborating and starring in an Academy Award-nominated documentary, "Code Gray” in 1985. The film can be viewed at icarusfilms.com.
Outside of her profession, Sharon was a committed Library Trustee at The Athol Public Library and an active member of the Athol Shade Tree Commission. She often found solace in reading, gardening, cooking, entertaining, spending time with friends, and making memorable trips to the beach with her family. She dedicated her life to caring for her parents, children, and grandchildren.
