Shawn Quinn Allen

ORANGE- Shawn Quinn Allen, 33, of Orange, died Friday, New Year's Day, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, after an ilness. He was born in Leominster, on St. Patrick's Day, 1982, son of Vergial and Barbara (King) Allen. Shawn attended CAPS Collaborative in Gardner until he was 22. He then attended Life Skills, Inc. also in Gardner. Shawn enjoyed watching people, laughing, and music. His exceptional smile will be greatly missed. He leaves his parents, Vergial and Barbara Allen of Orange; his grandmother, Mary Smith of Orange; his honorary grandmother, Simone Nash of Templeton; his godmother, Roxanne Melanson of Orange; his aunts, Brenda Johnson of Laurens, SC, Lora Hache, Tammy Perron, both of Fitchburg, Irma Robinson, and Tina Semler, both of Gardner; several cousins, including Amanda (Lavoie) Laclair. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 9, from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Franco American Club, 592 South St., Athol.
