Sheila A. (Smith) Jenkins

Sheila A. (Smith) Jenkins, 68, died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after an illness. She was the wife of the late Roland K. Jenkins who died in 2005. Sheila leaves her daughter, Sara A, Jenkins of Westminster; two brothers, Gene Smith of Whitinsville and Michael Smith; and one niece Megan Dykstra of Webster. She was born in Ware, Massachusetts on April 7, 1953 a daughter of the late James H. and Veronica B. (Janulevicus) Smith. She attended high school at Quabbin Regional High in Barre, MA. She graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College with a degree in Administrative Business. She worked for many years at Simplex in Westminster and then for the Four Points Sheraton in Leominster as an administrative assistant in the sales department. She enjoyed gardening, she loved her plants, being outside and she was an avid reader. She truly loved hanging out with her daughter Sara and her friends as she was very social. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her funeral will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. There will be calling hours on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel of the Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
