Skip was born on October 27, 1951, to the late Edwin J. Rudenauer and J. Shirley (Porter) Rudenauer in Waltham, MA. He grew up in Wayland Ma, graduated from Wayland HS, he spent 4 years in the NAVY, he got an Associate degree in Fire Science and worked on the Wayland Fire Department as a Firefighter and EMT for 30 years before retirement, he always worked part time jobs and owned Rudenauer Trucking for 10 years.
Skip loved spending time with his family and friends. He always loved a good laugh, watching stand up comedy, and was quick whited himself. In his free time Skip enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, hunting, being outdoors, riding motorcycles, and going to nascar races.
Skip is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Martha Sorbello, and Christine Adams, and his brother Richard Rudenauer.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Rudenauer, his children Eric, Keith and Mark, his sisters Jean Larson, Paula Schultz and Lee Margraf, his grandchildren Lucas, Jacob, Alana, Rylee, Kendyl, Enzo, Ivy, and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all knew that him.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Skip for a period of visitation on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St. Gardner, MA 01440, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475 at 10:00AM, friends and family are welcome to meet at the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA at 9:00 AM for a small prayer service before the burial.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Skip to the American Lung Association or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
