The Sisters of the Assumption mourn the loss of their beloved Sister Jacqueline Pelletier, who died Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, MA. She was a native of Salem, MA.
Sr. Jacqueline obtained an RN degree at St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell, MA. She devoted a good part of her religious life to organizing and administering the health services of her community. She was stationed at Maria Assumpta Academy and Assumption Residence in Petersham, MA for the greater part of her life as a religious.
In her declining years, Sr. Jacqueline lived first at St. Mary’s Health Center in Worcester and lately she was in residence at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, MA.
In addition to her sisters in the community, she is survived by nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Assumption Residence, 211 North Main St., Petersham, MA with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sisters of the Assumption Chapel, 211 N. Main St., Petersham, MA. Burial will follow in East Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters Of The Assumption Retirement Fund, 211 N. Main St., Petersham, MA 01366
