LEOMINSTER - Starr D. Babineau was a loving wife, mother, meme, sister, and friend. Starr 68, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at UMass Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester.
Starr was born in Rochester, New York on January 11, 1954, a daughter of the late Arthur Little and Helen (Rowe) Little. Starr moved to the Leominster area when she was 17 and has resided here since. Starr owned her own Day Care for many years before becoming a Manager at Sunglass Hut. Her bright personality and great sense of humor brought warmth and laughter to those who met her and all who loved her. Starr adored spending time with her family, loved cats, and greatly enjoyed her time volunteering at the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats. She also loved the beach, especially all the memories made with family at Hampton Beach.
Starr leaves two daughters, Alisha Wood and her husband, Scott, and Kayla Downey and her husband Andrew, all of Leominster; a step-son, Craig Dionne and his wife, Christal of Littleton; a brother, Buddy Little of Leominster; and 4 adored grandchildren, Emma, Jax, Carter, and Langston.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Keith Babineau who passed in 2016.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 2, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo's Church 108 Main St., Leominster, Massachusetts. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations in Starr's memory be made to the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats, 499 Northfield Road, Lunenburg, MA 01462.
