Stella Ankrastran

ORANGE - Stella M. Ankarstran, 91 of 6 North Main St., Orange, died Friday, June 15, 2007 in the Leo LaChance Nursing Home, Gardner, MA. She was born in Philadelphia, PA. on November 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Adolph and Mary Chomentowski. She was predeceased by her husband Eric Ankarstran and a son Eric J. Ankarstran of Florida. She leaves one daughter Shirley Hood of Danbury ,Texas, 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great granchildren. Stella worked at Erving Paper Mill for many years, retiring in 1992. She lived in Phillipston for many years, moving to Orange after retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church. Stella enjoyed fishing and spending time with her great great great grandson Ethan. Graveside services will be held at Monday, June 18, 2007 at 11:00 am in Gethsemane Cemetery, Daniel Shays Highway, Athol. No calling are are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one´s choice.
