Stephen T. Allen

Stephen T. Allen Warwick – Stephen T. Allen, 61, of 891 Wendell Road, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Athol Memorial Hospital.      Steve was born in Athol, Massachusetts, July 28, 1951, the son of David and Lillian (Barrows) Allen.  He grew up in Athol, attending Athol schools and where he lived for many years and for the past 21 years has resided in Warwick.      Steve worked for the Athol Royalston Regional School District as a custodian for 20 years until his retirement. Following his retirement he drove school bus for both Merrifield and Kuzmeskus Bus Companies and had previously worked at the former Peterson Dairy in Royalston.      Steve was an avid gardner, being raised on the family farm on Chestnut Hill in Athol.  He enjoyed haying, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.        He leaves his wife of 20 years, Georgia (Connor) Allen; a sister, Joann Gordon of NC; four brothers, Anthony Allen of NC, David Allen, Craig Allen and Alan Allen, all of Athol and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Allen.         A memorial service will be held at Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol at a date and time to be announced.  For further information or to share a memory with the family go to: www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com. $(document).ready(function(){ });
