Orange- Stephen F. Langlois, Jr, 41, of Orange, passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 11, 2013 in Athol Hospital. Stephen was born in Athol on August 18th, 1972, the son of Stephen Langlois and step-son of Lynne Langlois of Orange.
Stephen grew up in Orange and attended Mahar High School. He achieved his GED and began working for Park Steel Co. in Gardner as a punch press operator. He then went to work for Adams Farm in Athol as a meat cutter and then for JBM Pallet Co. in Templeton as a Pallet Builder for the last 12 years.
Stephen enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors camping, fishing, and being a survivalist. His children and family were very important to him.
Stephen leaves behind his father and mother: Stephen and Lynne Langlois of Orange, his Companion; Angela Hillock with whom he lived, his children; Misty Langlois of Gardner, Kyle Langlois of Worcester, and Hannah Hillock of Orange, two brothers; David Langlois of Rutland, and Edward Langlois of FL, two sisters; Mary Manjourea of Athol, and Marlene Pelletier of Athol, his paternal grandmother; Marguerite Langlois of Royalston, maternal grandmother; Theresa Anderson of FL, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Stephen was predeceased by his sister; Jodie Lopez (2007), Paternal grandfather; Floyd Langlois (2001), and maternal Grandfather; Walter Anderson (1997).
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 16th, 2013 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol Rd. Orange, MA. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Stephen’s name be made to NEADS (Dogs for deaf and disabled veterans) 305 Redemption Rock Trail Princeton, MA 01541 or may be left at the funeral home.
