Stephen A. "Stubbs" Riggins

GARDNER - Stephen A. "Stubbs" Riggins, 49 of 59 Graham Street, Gardner, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 in UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Gardner, on July 19, 1960, the son of the late Bennie J. Riggins and the late Carol E. (Regan) Riggins. He grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy. Stubbs worked at the Fernald School in Templeton for several years. He enjoyed golf and enjoyed following the Red Sox and Patriots. He leaves two brothers, Jeffrey Riggins and his wife Donna of Gardner, Timothy J. Riggins and his wife Kim of Ashburnham; one sister, Deborah Ann Riggins of Oklahoma; nephews and nieces Shawn Riggins, Samantha Riggins, Emily Riggins, Blake Riggins, Damien Kodacet and Sarah Troia. He was predeceased by his brother, David J. Riggins who died in 1987. Funeral services and burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mack Funeral Home 91 Vernon St., Gardner.
