Steven A Soucy

  Gardner- Steven A. Soucy, 48, of Gardner passed away suddenly in Heywood Hospital on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Steven was born on November 28, 1962, in Leominster, MA to Andrew Soucy and the late Patricia (Langlais) Soucy.  Steven was a special needs student in the Lunenburg School system, and enjoyed traveling in the car, outdoor activities including swimming and riding horses. He also loved shopping, dining out, and spending time with friends and family. He also participated in the Special Olympics. Steven will be sadly missed by his devoted caretaker of 12 years, Paul Mahoney. The family would like to thank Paul for his generous heart for caring for Steven. Steven leaves behind his father Andrew Soucy and his step-mother Lorraine Soucy of Gardner, one sister, Pamela Trainque and her husband Roland of Lunenburg, one brother, Mark Soucy of Lunenburg, two nephews Jarrod and Adam Trainque.  He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Soucy. Calling hours for Steven will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA on Sunday December 2, 2012 from 2pm-4pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 3, 2012 at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street Leominster, MA. Burial will follow in St. Cecelia’s Cemetery, Leominster.
