Susan L. Brend

  ATHOL - Susan L. Brend, 48 of 129 Arthur Ave., Athol, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. She was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on June 21, 1964.  Susan grew up in Stonewall, Oklahoma and graduated from Stonewall High School.  She moved to Athol in 1988. She was employed for over 15 years by the Institute of Professional Practice in Fitchburg working in the Human Services Department.  She enjoyed needle point and was an avid reader. She leaves two daughters, Rachel Ryerson of Ohio, Briana Montin of Orange; two sons, Jordan Montin of Oklahoma, Justin Montin of Oklahoma; her parents, William and Sandra Duguay of Athol; two sisters, Cheryl Myers of Oklahoma, Denise (Brend) Desgroseilliers and her husband Steve of Phillipston; one brother, Chris Brend and his wife Sonya of Texas; one grandson, Parker Hinkle of Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews including Paige and Sara who will especially miss their Aunt Noonie.
