Suzan J. (Blum) Phillips

Orange – Suzan J. (Blum) Phillips, 72, of 383 East River Street, died February 5, 2011 at her home.      Suzan was born in Gardner, Massachusetts, August 9, 1938, the daughter of James and Madeline (Stewart) Blum.  She grew up in Orange, attending Orange schools and Bement School in South Deerfield and has lived in the Athol-Orange area all of her life.  She enjoyed her home and playing bingo.  She especially enjoyed being with her two granddaughters, who were her pride and joy.      She leaves a daughter, Ann Marie Roberts and her husband Jeff of Athol; her two granddaughters, Alyssa of Athol and Lauren of Beverly; her brother, William Blum and his wife Rae of Pinehurst, NC; her two nephews Jeff and Jamie Blum of VT and her beloved cat Daisy.      A graveside service will be held at South Cemetery in Orange at the convenience of the family.  Those wishing to make a contribution in Suzan’s name may make it to the Athol Animal Shelter, for the care of animals, c/o Athol Police Dept., 280 Exchange St., Athol, MA  01331. $(document).ready(function(){ });
