Tena Lawsky

ATHOL - Tena (Latwen) Lawsky, 103, of 30 Fairview Avenue, Athol, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at home. She was born in Athol on March 20, 1907, the daughter of George and Veronica (Zebris) Latwen. Tena lived in Athol most of her life and attended local schools. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Athol. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Lawsky, on February 14, 1982, and by her son, John R. Lawsky, on August 19, 1982. She leaves a son, Richard C. Lawsky of Athol, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Athol. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol, MA 01331. $(document).ready(function(){ });
