ATHOL – Terry J. King, 73 of Athol, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Heywood Hospital, Gardner, MA
Terry was born on October 20, 1947 in Worcester to the late Frank “Jack” King and the late Velma (Akey) King. He grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School. He went on to attend Mount Wachusett Community College to earn an Associate’s Degree.
Terry worked as a machinist at Erving Paper Mill, L. S. Starrett Tool Company, Production Tool and Grinding, Whipps Inc and Rodney Hunt Company. He was a member of Cross Roads Church in Orange, A.A. and the Athol Masons. He enjoyed Antique Motorcycles (Harleys), jewelry making, and glass blowing.
He is survived by two sons: Sean King and his wife Erica of Queensbury, NY, Shane King and his wife Sarah of Athol; three grandchildren: Elyssa, Jameson, Maeve. He was predeceased by his brother Randy B. King.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
