Thad E. Lindsey

ATHOL - Thad E. Lindsey, 60 devoted son and brother of 266 Spring St., Athol, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at home. He was born in Gardner, on December 15, 1945, the son of the late Arthur L. and the late Josie (Haskins) Lindsey, Sr. He was a serviceman, employed by Luddy Motors for many years. Thad enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the U.S. Army. He leaves two sisters, Anita Myers of Granby, CT; Faye Lindsey of Athol;and one brother, David Lindsey of Evans, GA; and several nieces and nephews and a grand nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Lindsey, Jr.,and Gerald Lindsey. A celebration of life will be held at a date and time to be announced in the spring. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
