Thaddeus Luszey

GARDNER - Thaddeus Luszey, 84 of 252 Cross St., Gardner, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Ware, MA, on January 4, 1923. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He attended Holy Spirit Church and he belonged to the Carpenters Local #107 of Worcester. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and repairing automobiles. He leaves two sons, Thaddeus J. Luszey of Gardner, John Leavitt of California; two daughters, Nancy Guinard of Clinton, Elizabeth Hanshaw of Worcester; three step sons, Robert Marcinkus of Oxford, Peter Marcinkus of Springfield, MA; and Steven Marcinkus of Princeton, MA; one step daughter, Carol Melanson of Baldwinville; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth J. (Nalwaker) Luszey who died in 2000; and by two brothers, Charles Luszey and Joseph Luszey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 am in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St., Gardner.
