GARDNER - Theodore Dolski, 87 of 260 Airport Road, Gardner, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester.
He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on September 8, 1920, the son of the late Ignacy and the late Marta Dolski.
He grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey and graduated from high school in New Jersey.
Mr. Dolski was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Upon his return from the service he was employed at Worthington Pump in New Jersey.
He moved to Gardner in 1948 and was employed at the former Union Twist Drill Company in Athol for a short time before working at Harrington and Richardson for over 25 years, retiring in 1982.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. He was a life-member of the PACC in Gardner and the Gardner V.F.W. Post 905 He enjoyed gardening and working on his house.
He leaves a step son, John R. Pobuk of Kendallville, IN; four grandchildren, Timothy T. Pobuk of East Templeton; Jack Pobuk of Honolulu, HI; Elizabeth Liscomb of Durham, Maine; Theodore Pobuk of Kendallville, Indiania; one step grandson, Scott Pobuk of Kendallville, Indiania; and nine great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his Wife, Helen (Korbuszewski) Dolski who died in 1979.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner.
