Theodore Matteson

ATHOL: Theodore Matteson, 58 of Athol, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was born in Brattleboro, VT on March 29, 1957 to the late Claude L. and the late Beverly (Rice) Matteson. He worked for over 20 years at the L. S. Starrett Tool Company. He was the youngest of five children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being out in the woods and camping. He leaves one son: Joshua Matteson of Orange; one daughter: Leigha Matteson of Orange, two sisters: Lynda Gundry and her husband Sam of W. Brattleboro, Vt, Elizabeth Young and her husband William of TN; his former wife: Terry Matteson of Orange. He was predeceased by his two brothers: Claude Matteson Jr and his wife Rebecca,and Bruce Matteson. Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA. Burial will be private.
