Theresa (Champagne) Anctil, 80, of Leominster, MA, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at home surrounded by her family, after an illness.
She was born July 7,1928, in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Alfred and Diana Champagne, and came to Leominster MA many years ago. She leaves her beloved husband of (60) years, Louis N. Anctil, (2) Sons, Denis Anctil and his wife, Valerie (Frye), and Donald Anctil and wife, Diana (Doane), both of Leominster, (3) Daughters, Nicole Vitone and her companion, David Lattanzio of Leominster, Carmen Cormier and her husband, Douglas of Leominster, and Julie Penzabene and her husband, David of Safety Harbor Florida; (12) Grandchildren, Daniel Vitone and his wife, Lori (Charon), Michael Vitone, Diana Beland and her husband, Robert, Victoria Stuzman and her husband, Christian, Celena Anctil, Sarah Cormier, Rachel Anctil, Hannah Anctil, all of Leominster, Kristine Tata and her husband, Adam of Fitchburg, Scott Cormier of Allston, Matthew Anctil of Worcester, and Cristina Penzabene of Safety Harbor, Florida; (9) great-grandchildren; (1) Brother, Roger Champagne and his wife, Yvonne of Leominster. (1) Sister, Jeanette Leblanc of Leominster; many nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Doris Bordeleaux, Germaine Desilits, Yvette Hebert, and Fernande Champagne, and Two brothers, Bruno Champagne, and Laurent Champagne predeceased her.
Mrs. Anctil was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster. She enjoyed wintering in Clearwater, Florida for many years. Her family was the joy of her life and everyone always looked forward to Memeres traditional spaghetti supper every Sunday. She was the heart of her family and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
The funeral be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, MA with a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, December 10, 2008 are from 10:15 a.m. ~ 12:15 p.m.
