Theresa (Leclerc) Anctil, 97, of Winchendon, formerly of Leominster, died peacefully guided by her son Mark and his wife Shari, and surrounded by loved ones, at Wachusett Manor in Gardner.
Theresa was born November 17, 1921, in St. Jean, Port-Joli, Quebec, Canada, one of nine children, to Honorious and Angelina (Dube) Leclerc. She lived in Leominster for thirty years before moving to Winchendon with her son and daughter in law. She is the last of her generation to bear the Anctil name.
She was predeceased by Her husband, Roger C. Anctil, in 1983 and her son, Fernand L. Anctil, in 2017.
She leaves her children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with numerous other relatives.
Theresa’s Family would like to thank Beacon Hospice and Wachusett Manor staff for their exceptional care and compassion.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, January 3, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. The funeral will follow with a Mass at St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Theresa’s memory to Wachusett Manor Resident Activity Fund, 32 Hospital Hill Road., Gardner, MA 01440.
