Theresa J. Capoccia

LEOMINSTER - Theresa J. (Pothier) Capoccia, 82, of 450 N. Main St., Leominster, died Monday, May 19, 2008 in the Leominster Hospital, Leominster. She was born in Leominster, on November 26, 1925, the daughter of the late Rosaire and the late Annette (St. Laurent) Pothier. She grew up in Leominster and was educated in Leominster. She worked at Foster Grant for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Anna's Church, and was an avid reader. She leaves two daughters, Linda DiNardo of Leominster, Deanne Lord of Maine; three sons, Peter Capoccia of Southbridge, John Capoccia of Prince George, VA, Frank Capoccia of Fitchburg; two sisters, Yvette Romano of Florida, and Doris Waites of Venice, FL; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Victor J. Capoccia, who died on August 18, 2001, also by her brother, Roland Pothier, and by her sister, Irene Tata. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, Lancaster St., Leominster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Anna's Church - Restoration Fund, 194 Lancaster St., Leominster, MA 01453.
