GARDNER- Theresa M. (Provencher) Jean, 90, of Gardner, died Saturday, September 23, after a brief illness.
Theresa was born March 6, 1927, in Gardner, daughter of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Chicoine) Provencher. She worked as a stitcher for E & A Corporation. Theresa enjoyed reading, sewing, playing dominoes, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her husband, Normand A. Jean, died in 2012. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Leona Y. Jean in 1968, two brothers, Robert and Roland Provencher.
She will be sadly missed by two sons, Paul Jean and his wife, Margie of New Boston, NH, and Leo Jean and his friend, Glynnis of Winter Park, CO; four daughters, Norma Rollet and her husband, Tim of Middlebury, VT, Nancy Tyros and her husband, Costas of Gardner, Janice LeBlanc and her husband, Michael of Leicester, and Joyce Jean of Worcester; twelve grandchildren, Christopher Jean, Carrie Jean, Sara Jean, Kelsey Paul, Joshua Rollet, Lori Smythers, April Jean, Demetrios Tyros, Joseph Tyros, George Tyros, Phillip LeBlanc and Eric LeBlanc; six great grandchildren, Alex Heaton, Lydia Mae Jean, Eliza Jean, Kylan Paul, Sophia Tyros and Beckett Tyros; one brother, Conrad Provencher and his wife, Jackie of Sterling; her very dear friend, Jean Saari; and many nieces and nephews.
The calling hours are Friday, October 6, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. in Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
