Theresa L. Parker

ATHOL - Theresa L. Parker,92, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Applewood Home for Elders in Athol.

She was born in Gardner on March 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank Landry and Laura (Lafond) Landry.

Theresa grew up in Gardner, she graduated high school in Toledo, Ohio. She moved to Athol in 1959 and has resided there since. 

She was employed as an operator at New England Telephone for 18 years. She then worked for Athol Hospital as the Purchasing Agent for 12 years.

She enjoyed traveling, casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, Branson Missouri, Bingo, and time spent at her camp on Laurel Lake in Fitzwilliam, NH. 

She leaves one daughter, Laurel Kessler of Athol; three sons, Gerald Parker of Barre, Kevin Parker of Fitzwilliam, Scott Parker of Phillipston; one brother, Jim Landry of Gardner; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband Ronald S. Parker who passed in 2012.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:30 am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
