Theresa M. Provo of Leominster, St. Cecila member; 80 LEOMINSTER Theresa M.(Tessier) Provo, 80, of Leominster, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital, after an illness. She was born July 30, 1927, in Leominster, MA, the daughter of the late Wilfred D.Tessier and Flora (Letarte) Tessier, and was a lifelong Leominster resident. She leaves 1 son, James W. Provo and his wife, Annette of Leominster; 3 daughters, Judith A. Renda and her husband, Joseph, Joan M. LeClair and her husband, James, and Jennifer J. Robichaud and her husband, Michael, all of Leominster; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Renda, Heather Colby, Seth Renda, Adam Renda, Jessica Krook, Kate Renda, James E. Provo, Paul Provo, Peter Robichaud, Aaron Robichaud, and Abbey Robichaud; 9 great-grandchildren, Olivia Colby, Amelia Renda, Ava Colby, Jacob Renda, Jack Krook, Julia Renda, Lucas Renda, Ben Colby, and Ella Krook. Her husband of 54 Years, James E. Provo, died April 29, 2000. Her brother, Paul A. Tessier, of Leominster, died in 1973. Mrs. Provo was a member of St. Cecila's Church in Leominster. She worked in the Payroll Department at the former Cluet and Peabody Co., in Leominster for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster with a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday evening July 7, 2008 from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the St. Cecilia's Church Restoration Fund, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA 01453 and may be left at the funeral home.
