Thomas Girouard

GARDNER - Thomas Girouard, 61, of 116 Church Street, Gardner, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Heywood Hospital in Gardner. Mr. Girouard was born in Gardner on April 8, 1948, the son of Mary Frances (McCarthy) Girouard of Athol and the late Joseph Girouard. He grew up in Gardner and graduated from Worcester Trade School. He worked in the printing business for many years, and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sister, Margaret A. McCarthy of West Bridgewater; his aunt, Margaret L. Young of Athol, and several cousins. There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial will be private.
