Thomas G. Landry

LEOMINSTER------Thomas G. Landry Jr, 82 of Leominster died peacefully and unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday August 16, 2011. He was born December 3, 1928 in Leominster the son of the late Thomas G. Landry Sr and Lea (LeBlanc) Landry and was a lifelong Leominster resident. He leaves his Son Dr Thomas G. Landry III OF Leominster, Two sisters, Theresa Tosto and her husband Salvatore of Norman Oklahoma and Janice Lirette and her husband Robert of Shirley, his four sisters in law, Theresa Nisula, Mary Jane Thibaudeau, Madeline L Ecuyer and Eleanor L Ecuyer and twenty eight nieces and nephews. His loving wife of 48 years, Georgianna E (L Ecuyer) Landry died on March 13,2003 .A sister Phyllis Pires also predeceased him. Mr Landry was a Eucharistic Minister at St Cecilia's Church in Leominster where he also was a Server for many funerals. At the time of his retirement he was Chief Security Officer of Data Processing at the former Fort Devens Military Base. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War 2 receiving the WW2 Victory Medal. The funeral will be held on Saturday August 20, 2011 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with an 11am Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia's Church 180 Mechanic St Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday evening August 19, 2011 are from 5pm-8pm. Please omit flowers.
