Hubbardston-Tricia Lee (Knight) Deloge, 50, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023, of an undetermined illness at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
She leaves one daughter, Charissa Rathbun of Stoneham; four grandchildren, Savannah, Owen, Riley and Hunter Deloge all of Michigan; her mother, Judy E. (Bliven) Knight; one brother, David Knight and his wife Lori, all of N. Stonington, CT; and her best friend and companion, Steve Hastbacka of Hubbardston.
She is predeceased by her son, Cory M. Deloge, who died on December 27, 2021.
Tricia was born in Groton, CT, a daughter of the late Albert Knight. She graduated from Wheeler Junior/ Senior High School in N. Stonington, CT. Later she graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College, where she earned her degree to become a Registered Nurse. She worked for the former Worcester State Hospital. She also owned and operated a breakfast restaurant in Hubbardston for a short time.
Tricia will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She had helped in raising her four grandchildren before her illness. She truly loved her family especially her grandchildren, traveling with Steve, and working as a nurse.
Calling hours for Tricia will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Tricia's name to the National MS Society at nationalmssociety.org.
