Ulric A. Duguay Orange – Ulric A. Duguay, 70, of Highland Street, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.      Rick was born on September 25, 1942 in Winchendon, Massachusetts, the son of George L. and Doris H. (Buck) Duguay.  Rick grew up in Athol where he lived for many years and has resided in Orange for the past 40 years.  He worked as a certified nurses’ aide at Farren Hospital in Montague, had previously worked at the Athol Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s Church in Orange and the Union Twist Drill.        Rick was very talented, always working with his hands doing crafts, working on his house, loved tying flies, being an avid fisherman.        He leaves his daughter Christine Jackson and her husband Kevin of Wilton, ME; four grandchildren, Sully, Chenoa, Trevayne and Annaset Jackson; his companion Janice Richter of Clinton; his former wife Trudie Burnham Duguay of Wilton, ME; two sisters, Wanda Duguay of Athol and Sandra Lorentan of Orange. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.      At Rick’s request no formal services are planned.  Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is handling the arrangements. The family suggests those wishing to make a donation in Rick’s name make it to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or any local animal shelter.
