ATHOL - Valerie (Malette) Richardson, 69 of 648 Pleasant St., Athol, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at home. She was born in Athol, on December 11, 1938, the daughter of the late Herbert and the late Marion (Hachey) Malette. She was a self employed artist and known for her wedding cakes. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening. She leaves two sons: Michael Truehart and his wife Laurie of Royalston, James Richardson and his wife Barbara of Royalston, four grandchildren: James, Robert, Aaron, and Michael, one sister: Eileen Bosworth of Athol, and one brother: Richard Malette of West Haven, CT.
