Vanessa M. (Chadbourne) Breton

ATHOL- Vanessa Marie (Chadbourne) Breton, 60, of Athol, died Tuesday, January 30, at UMass Medical Center with her family by her side, after an illness. Vanessa was born February 17, 1957, in Long Beach, California, daughter of Humphrey Chadbourne, III, and the late Beverly LaRose. Vanessa worked at Simplex Time Recorder for 25 years. She loved gardening which led her to study botany at UMass Amherst. She was a sports fan, especially enjoying football, baseball, and racing. Vanessa enjoyed traveling and camping. She leaves her husband of 23 years, Jeannot Breton; her father, Humphrey Chadbourne, III, of Phillipston; one sister, Valinda Kwasny and her husband, Thomas of Moosup, CT; two brothers, Humphrey “Butch” Chadbourne, IV and his wife, Veronica, and William Chadbourne, all of Phillipston; her best friend, Robin Recos; many nieces and nephews.
