LEOMINSTER - Victor E. Kirouac, Sr., 86, of 1160 Main St., Leominster, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in the Marlborough Hills Healthcare, Marlborough.
He was born in Sterling, on July 21, 1921, the son of the late Henry and the late Mae Kirouac.
He was formerly from Clinton. He served during World War II in the Army and was stationed in France and Italy. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Knights of Columbus.
He leaves two sons, Ernest Kirouac and his wife Carolyn of Swanzy, NH, Victor E. Kirouac, Jr., of Ashburnham; one daughter, Martha Thibodeau and her husband Louis of Kissammee, FL; his daughter-in-law and caretaker, Robin Kirouac of Clinton; one sister, Corrine Lizotte and her husband Joseph of Colorado Springs, CO; his special friend Beatrice Keating of Leominster; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Arbo, who died in 1988; by his son, Robert Kirouac, by his brother, Norman Kirouac, and by his sister, Bella Mapane.
Burial will be private.
There are no calling hours.
