GARDNER - Victoria J. (Sokolowski) Hadmack, 88, died Sunday, October 14, 2007. Her husband, Michael P. Hadmack died in 1980. She leaves one daughter: Frances D. Barry of Berlin, one son: Michael P. Hadmack Jr. of Auburn; four grandchildren, John & Julie Barry, Michael R. & Kevin T. Hadmack; one great grandchild: Matthew Barry; and two sisters: Jennie Bessette of Gardner & Irene Robichaud of Orange. She was the daughter of Wladyslaw and Jozefa (Medeksza) Sokolowski and lived in Gardner all her life. She attended Gardner High School. She worked at the former Heywood Wakefield Co. for 38 years. Mrs. Hadmack was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Joseph's Church, the Polish American Club, the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America and the Gardner Golden Age Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Joseph's Church Renovation Fund, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner, Ma. 01440.
