ATHOL - Vincent I. Kulisanski, 57 of 269 Intervale Ave., Athol, died Saturday, December 17, 2005, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester.
He was born in Gardner, on December 5, 1948, the son of the late William M. and the late Stanislava (Tamulionis) Kulisanski.
He was a life long resident of Athol. A graduate of Athol High School with the class of 1966. Mr. Kulisanski was a call Firefighter for the Athol Fire Department for over 20 years. He was involved in the restoration of the Seagrave. He retired as a Leuitenant in 1998. He was employed at the L.S. Starrett Company for over 30 years.
He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church where he was very active in church activities including being a member of the church council. He was a member of the Knights of Lithuania. His hobbies included HAM raido, robotics, electronics and model airplanes. He volunteered at AOTV.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Brenda L. (McCarthy) Kulisanski; one son, William L. Kulisanski and his fiance Laura Egeland of Gardner; one sister, Christine A. Kulisanski of Amarillo, TX; one granddaughter, Alexis Summer Kulisanski of Gardner; Uncle, Joseph Kaslauskas of Sunderland, MA; close cousins, Joseph Kaslauskas, Jr. of Sunderland, MA, Dr. Marie Ann Shatos of Athol and Margaret Shatos of Detroit; close friend, Dr. Jackie Doherty of Athol.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005, at 10:00 am in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 PM at the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Athol Firefighters Association 2251 Main St., Athol, MA 01331.
