Viola K. Lowell

WINCHENDON - Viola K. (Belado) Lowell, 99 of 92B Ipswich Drive, Winchendon, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at home. She was born in Montague, MA, on January 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and the late Anna K. (Schick) Belado. Viola graduated from Turners Falls High School with the class of 1938. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, the Garden Club, Winchendon Historical Society and the Democratic Town Committee. She leaves one son, Larry Newman of North Tonawanda, NY; special friends, Michael and Anne Horrigan of Gardner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will be private at a later date. A calling hour will be held Saturday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church - Renovation Fund, 52 Spruce St., Winchendon, MA 01475.
