GREENFIELD - Virginia (Mallet) Gleba, 90 of 81 Greenfield formerly of Athol, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the Charlene Manor Nursing Home, Greenfield.
She was born in Athol, on September 20, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and the late Helen (Hebert) Mallet. Virginia lived most of her life in Athol living several years in Canada before moving back to Athol.
She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church and a member of the Franco American Club in Athol.
She leaves her husband, Edward Gleba, one daughter, Patricia Germond and her husband William of North Carolina; one son, Michael E. Gleba of Athol; her close companion, Bruce Beane of Athol; a brother Donald Mallet and his wife Lorraine of North Orange; her goddaughter and niece Janet Mousseau and her husband Kenneth of Athol and several other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by he sister Hedwidge M. Brault and by her brother Leo Mallet.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Wisdom Way, Greenfield.
There are no calling hours.
