Virginia M. Tuholski

ATHOL - Virginia M. (Emmett) Tuholski, 92 of 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Athol, on March 6, 1920, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Charlotte (Kingsbury) Emmett. She leaves two daughters, Janet Blanchard and her husband Clarence of Athol, Judith Dubrule and her husband Bruce of Athol; four grandchildren, Michelle Blanchard of Winchendon, Bruce Dubrule, Jr. of Buckland, Michael Blanchard of Oakham, Scott Dubrule of Orange; five great grandchildren, Cameron Dubrule, Olivia Dubrule, Evan Dubrule, Emmery Dubrule, Julia Blanchard and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John Tuholski, by her sister, Dorothy Pecoy, and by her brother, William Emmett. She worked for a short time at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company.  She enjoyed playing the piano and crocheting many items over the years.  She enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Virginia was a member of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Woman's Guild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 am in St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St., Orange.  Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Quabbin Valley Healthcare - Alzheimer's Unit, 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, MA 01331 or to St. Mary's Church 19 Congress St., Orange, MA 01364.
