Wayne C. Beane

BALDWINVILLE - Wayne C. Beane, 71, of Baldwinville died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Heywood Hospital of Gardner. He was born July 12, 1945 in Gardner, the son of the late Francis C. and the late Marjorie H. (Snow) Beane. Wayne grew up in Baldwinville and was a life-long resident of Baldwinville. He worked as a truck driver for the Railroad for many years and then went on to be an independent truck driver for private transportation companies. Wayne was a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Templeton for many years. He was a member of the Royalston Fish & Gun Club and the Gardner Lodge of Masons. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his John Deere tractors. He leaves his former wife; Ida E. Beane of Templeton; two daughters, Sonya K. Beane of Baldwinville, Pauline M. Beane Burns of Baldwinville; one son, Raymond R. Beane and his wife Sandra Ryder of Winchendon; two sisters, Dorothy Belliveau of South Windsor, CT, Pauline LeBlanc of Gardner; four grandchildren, Dana S. Beane, Santi A. Burns, Kathleen M. Telepciak, Olivia J. Labonte and one niece, Susan LeBlanc. He was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Beane who died in 2006. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks-Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
