William Stephen Daly

LEOMINSTER - William Stephen Daly, 60 of 28 6th Avenue, Leominster, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Health Alliance Hospital, Leominster. He was born in Leominster, on February 19, 1948, the son of the late William T. and the late Raphael (Dolan) Daly. He graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1966 and from Fitchburg State College in 1971 with a Bachelors Degree in teaching. He taught history at Leominster High School from 1972 to 1981. He also worked at Giguere's Drug Store for several years. Mr. Daly enjoyed spending time with his family. He leaves two sons: Jonathan Daly and wife Margaret of Methuen, Jeremy Daly and wife Nicole of Fitchburg; four grandchildren: Emma Daly and Benjamin Daly of Methuen; Ellie Daly and Julia Daly of Fitchburg; his former wife and friend, NancyJo (DesJardins) Daly of Fitchburg; his very close companion Debbie Hanes; the two people he lived with: Robert and Lisa Colfield. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
