William R. Hamm

WESTMINSTER - William R. Hamm, 81, of 14 Ridge St., Westminster died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. He was born on April 3, 1930 the son of William C. Hamm and Lillian Mae (Gendron) Hamm. Mr. Hamm was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He leaves two sons, William R. Hamm of Bristol, CT, John B. Hamm of Leicester; one stepson Carl N. Borey of Long Beach, CA; one step daughter, Carlene T. Bailey and her husband David of Winchendon; two sisters, June Schartner of Lyndonville, VT, Juliet Catman of Sterling, MA; three grandchildren, Jacob Hamm of Leicester, David Bailey, Ashley Bailey both of Winchendon. He was predeceased by his wife Claire B. (Fredette) Hamm who died in 2008, and by one brother, Robert Hamm of Worcester; and by two sisters, Barbara Hamm of Clinton and Aili Dibenedetto of Lancaster. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
