William T. Horrigan

MARSTONS MILLS - William T.Horrigan, 87 of 63 Wheeler Road, Marstons Mills, formerly of Athol, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in the Cape Cod Hospital. He was born in Athol on May 22, 1918, the son of the late Edward N. and the late Mary (Adams) Horrigan and grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School. He leaves his wife of sixty-three years, Edith J. (Johnson) Horrigan, along with many nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward H. Horrigan, and three sisters; Theresa Carney, Agnes Miller and Lillian Gove. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in his memory to the Athol High School Scholarship Fund, 2363 Main St., Athol, MA 01331 or to the Massachusetts Citizens for Life, Schrafft Center, 529 Main St., Boston, MA 02129-1100. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 5, 2006 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol. $(document).ready(function(){ });
