Winifred "Winnie" H. (Bulman) Ledgard

ATHOL – Winifred H. (Bulman) Ledgard, 93 of Athol, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Quabbin Valley Health Care, Athol. Winnie was born on October 12, 1923 in Athol to the late Fred Bulman and the late Blanche (Woodward) Bulman. She has lived in Athol all her life, graduating from Athol High School with the Class of 1941. She attended Regis College. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church, a member of the Athol Area YMCA and the Athol Golden Ages Club. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years: Edward J. Ledgard and her son John P. Ledgard. She is survived by one son: Edward “Ted” Ledgard and his wife Mary of Athol, two daughters: Maryann Rabideau and her husband Steve of Athol, Janet Harris and her husband Fred of Roseville, CA; 10 grandchildren: Stephen Rabideau Jr., Mark Rabideau, Katie Bishop, Sarah Palumbo, Molly Rabideau, John Ledgard Jr., Tracy Kenniff, Jake Ledgard, Maggie Ledgard and Benjamin Ledgard; twelve great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol, MA. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol. Calling hours will be held Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA.
