GARDNER - Yvonne A. (Boulanger) Kulczyk, 86, of 104 Church Street and formerly of Waterford Street, Gardner, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the The Highlands in Fitchburg.
She was born in Gardner on July 28, 1924, the daughter of the late Marcel and the late Delina (Trembley) Boulanger.
Mrs. Kulczyk was a lifelong resident of Gardner. She attended Gardner schools and worked at the former Silver Shop on Chestnut Street many years ago. Mrs. Kulczyk was a homemaker and volunteered at Heywood Hospital for fourteen years. She was a member of the PAV Auxiliary and the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Joseph's Church in Gardner.
She leaves her husband of fifty-four years, Thaddeus S. "Teddy" Kulczyk; two sons, Gary Kulczyk and his wife Mary of Rindge, NH, Thomas Kulczyk of Athol; one sister, Louise Lane of Gardner; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Christopher White, Jr., in 1987; also by her first husband, Christopher White, Sr., in 1955; by five brothers, Eugene Boulanger, Alexander Boulanger, Edward Boulanger, Wilfred Boulanger, Peter Boulanger; and by two sisters, Rose Hendrickson and Elizabeth Boulanger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg, will be private.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant Street, Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to charity of one's choice.
